I have decided to join the ShaunTourage for his Insanity Birthday Challenge.

I am committing to 60 days of Insanity.   I have to admit I am a little afraid of what is about to happen.   I have done Insanity before but never the full 60 day program (don’t tell Shaun T.).  I am also very excited.  I know this next 60 days will transform my body and fitness it ways that will be amazing.  We end our 60 day challenge on my 47th birthday.  It is also Shaun Ts birthday. That also makes me very excited about this challenge.   3 days later I will be running in my 2nd 1/2 Marathon.  It will be great to see how Insanity prepares me for that as well.

So if  you are also taking the plunge and you just received your Insanity Home Fitness program I am so excited for you.

 Yes it is tough but we are in this together.

You will want to start with your Fit Test.  This is how you will gauge your progress over the next 60 days.  Here are a few tips to help you with your first Insanity Fit Test:

Insanity Fit Test Tips:

1. Video Tape your Fit Test if you can

2. Concentrate on your form

3. Drink plenty of water

4. Have fun!

Do as many reps as you can in 1 minute, then record your results after every exercise.   Remember to warm up first and rest when needed.
